Jeffrey Rosen, president of the National Constitution Center and law professor at George Washington University, will be in conversation with Jewish studies professor Shari Rabin about this important new biography of Louis Brandeis.

Born in Louisville, Kentucky, Brandeis was the first Jewish member of the US Supreme Court, serving from 1916 to 1939. Rosen argues that Brandeis, author of the most famous article on the right to privacy and an outspoken leader in the American Zionist movement, was the most farseeing constitutional philosopher of the twentieth century.
